Palm Event Center Wedding // Eddie & Susie

Susie and Eddie a local, homegown love story, held their wedding at The Palm Event Center in the Vineyard. It was a beautiful (and very warm) summer afternoon, so the ceremony and reception were both held inside the nice air conditioned rooms. Accompanied with their two pups, and a lot of friends and family, their day was one for the books. Everything went smoothly, as expected, and they danced the night away with the infamous DJ Hightop backing the tunes.

The Story of Susie and Eddie…

Two kids, walking on the track back in high school never thought they would be getting married to each other 15 years later!

We met back in Freshman year of high school at Livermore High School. (Eddie says he knew Susie from East Avenue, but Susie can’t seem to remember.) We became fast friends, hanging out on the weekends, going to the movies and keeping each other company at school. Fast forward to our Junior year, Susie would ask Eddie to go to Prom with her. Of course he said “YES!”

After years apart while both of us were doing our own thing, we reconnected in 2014. From then on, we were inseparable . One of our first dates was to a friend’s wedding! Our next date would be Valentine’s day. Then quickly later, we knew it was meant to be. Come July ’14, we decided to move in together.

We knew we loved each other right out of the gates. Both of us have seen the start of new careers together and the growth of our family with Luna and Zorro. Eddie proposed to Susie on New Year’s Eve 2015 surrounded by friends and family.
