This past August a group of vendors and I got together to create something magical. The last 2 wedding shoots, I have invited other photographers to join in on the fun, and this time was no different. Along side the shoot, 6 other photographers and I met and talked all things wedding. I talked about how to shoot for your brand and publication as well as my wedding day work flow.  It was a very natural, honest and organic conversation. One photographer, Talina, that joined us had this to say, “Just wanted to thank you so much for everything, I had a wonderful time and the vendors rock too! It was awesome learning from you and seeing you work in action you’re a rockstar, and it really got me thinking on changing the way I shoot. I’m gonna practice on that for sure… Can’t wait to share pics and blog! I definitely want to join the next shootout! Have a beautiful rest of your week!”  After our roundtable conversations, we moved on to posing couples. I purposely chose to work with a real couple, that I have never worked with and were not professional models. I wanted to shoot and the lesson to be real and authentic – and I felt that is exactly what happened.   I had an absolutely wonderful time and I’m so happy that the other photographers did as well.  I cannot wait to see what they produced!!
