While many photographers will photograph anything, I specialize and only photograph weddings and couples. This allows me to truly understand couples, their dynamics, and has enabled me to create a flawless and efficient wedding day workflow. I also bring along an assistant to help stay on schedule and photograph little details or candids that I might not otherwise be able to capture. It allows me to stay focused on creating the most beautiful images we can!
I frequently photograph Orthodox ceremonies, as well as indoor/candle lit ceremonies. Think you have a challenge? Don't worry - I've got this!

Karey was great! She always responded to emails promptly and was very organized. After booking with her, she checked in with me and my now husband periodically and sent us reminders, which helped us stay on top of things and eased our minds leading up to our big day.

Each photo has so many more layers to it than first meets the eye, and with 1,700 from our day to choose from, there was no element of the day that was missed. Second, and most importantly, Karey is incredible to work with. Her experience and professionalism went SO FAR in planning for our wedding. I felt I could completely trust in her to do her job, which left me with one less thing to worry about on the big day. She was incredibly open to hearing about my style and preferences and got all of the shots I told her were important. She kept the wedding party and family in line, was quick and efficient, and made my husband and I feel so at ease during our couple photos. She had previously worked with my planner and videographers - and it was evident that they knew when to get in and out of eachothers way, and the final products were all the better for it. Thank you, Karey, for capturing our memories forever!
Karey is worth her weight in gold as a wedding photographer. In my opinion, there are two things to look out for when booking a photographer - first, do they take good photos? Her work speaks for itself. Her style is soft and romantic, yet her attention to detail is stunning.

Leading up to our wedding, Karey was super helpful with our timeline and planning all of the groups we wanted to get pictures with, which was tough because of my big family. On our wedding day, Karey showed up early, and the whole time kept us on schedule and knew exactly when and where to go to get all of the important pictures squeezed in to such a small time frame because of the early sunset in January. Our wedding was amazing, and having Karey as our photographer made the day go that much smoother and let us enjoy it without having to worry about anything. After the wedding, Karey got our pictures back to us within the time frame she promised. The pictures turned out to be amazing and captured everything so perfectly. The photo book that she made for us is such a treasure. If you are lucky enough to have Karey as your photographer you will not regret it. She is the best!
Karey is an all star. We feel so lucky to have had her capture all of the memories from our special day at The Bridges Golf Club on 1/19/19. From the beginning, Karey was always super responsive and communicative, which was very important to me and calming all of my anxiety when it came to planning our wedding.

She wrangled up our very large (some unruly) bridal party and made sure to get every picture in that we wanted. And the wedding album? GORGEOUS. She also did a spectacular job on our engagement pictures and made sure we felt natural in all our lovey dovey poses. I still can't choose my favorite photo. I would recommend Karey in a heartbeat. :)
This review for Karey is SOOO long overdue. My husband and I got married in December 2017 and Karey was nothing short of A.M.A.Z.I.N.G. She got a million photos that I love - and that's hard to do when I'm the type that deletes almost every photo I'm in.

I have several friends who worked with Karey for their weddings, and once I saw their final photos I knew that as soon as we were engaged, Karey was going to be my first reach out. Hazy Lane Studios was indeed the first vendor we booked, and from the beginning Karey was ready to help us in any way she could. Upon our first meeting, she made us feel comfortable, and we immediately vibed with her. She has an extensive list of vendor recommendations at multiple price points, and is fast to respond to all forms of communication. Having never done a professional shoot before, my then fiance and I were very nervous and unsure how to act during our engagement shoot. Karey made the entire experience easy, fun and pleasant, and made us excited to shoot with her again for our wedding. The package we chose included a second photographer, and her colleague Rene was also amazing to work with. They make an incredible team and they captured our beautiful wedding to a T. Karey is excellent at giving direction when taking photos... The wedding day went off without a hitch – all due to Karey’s organization and communication. Prior to the wedding day, she has the timeline down to a T. She is excellent at commanding the group to get the pictures done in a timely manner. And just trust her with the locations and lighting at your venue – she reads it perfectly.
