Tina + Travis // InterContinental Mark Hopkins San Francisco Wedding // A Russian Orthodox Wedding

It’s the stuff of rom-coms: a group of friends get together for a housewarming party, one hesitant invitee reluctantly agrees to come, sparks fly between two unlikely people, and the rest is history. That’s precisely what happened on the night of January 19, 2019, when Travis invited some friends over to his housewarming party. Little did he know that his guest list would include his future wife. It took four years, a pandemic, and even a furry addition to the family, but on December 19, 2022, Travis asked Tina to be his forever. It just goes to show that sometimes, the best things in life happen when you least expect them.

Fast forward to Tina and Travis’ wedding day – with 220 guests, a Classic San Francisco theme adorned with blush tones, and a black tie optional dress code, everyone was ready for the celebration of a lifetime. It was our absolute pleasure to capture every wonderful moment across not one but two incredible venues – a traditional church union at Holy Virgin Cathedral and a reception at the InterContinental Mark Hopkins San Francisco. Here’s a glimpse of their special day!

Tina And Travis’s InterContinental Mark Hopkins San Francisco Wedding

There’s something about the getting-ready moments that always tugs at our hearts. It could be the anticipation of the big day or the excitement of seeing two people come together in love. But whatever it is, we’re always grateful to capture these special moments for our couples.

As we started photographing Tina and Travis’ getting ready moments, we were immediately drawn in by the warmth and love of their loved ones surrounding them. And let’s talk about the details – Tina’s wedding dress, designed by Kelly Faetanini, was stunning, and her hair and makeup by Contour Bridal looked flawless. The Minted invites by Jessica Williams added the perfect touch of elegance. And can we just take a moment to appreciate that gorgeous bouquet by R Flowers and Baskets? To top it off, Travis looked dashing as ever in his suit.

The couple had their church ceremony at Holy Virgin Cathedral, and it was absolutely amazing. We’re suckers for church weddings, and the Russian Orthodox ceremony was one of the most beautiful ones we’ve ever attended. Capturing the radiant joy of Tina and Travis was extraordinary. The breathtaking interior of the church only added to the beauty of the occasion, and we felt honored to be able to capture every magical moment.

Tina and Travis’ portraits were a blast to capture! Every shot we took was brimming with romance and happiness, and we couldn’t help but get swept up in their infectious energy. From the city skyline as their backdrop to the pavements they walked on, everything just added so much to their love story. Watching them laugh, kiss, and hold hands was a sight to behold. And we have to give a shoutout to their bridesmaids and groomsmen who were killing it in the style department – talk about dapper!

A Fun-Filled Reception Celebrating The Couple’s Love Story

We couldn’t have asked for a better team of vendors to work alongside Tina and Travis’ special day! First up, a shout out to the Golden State Trolley for their incredible service. Then, there’s the InterContinental Mark Hopkins Hotel, which was the dreamy location for the reception. The staff was terrific, and we have to give a special shoutout to Sasha Krassovsky, who made sure everything ran like clockwork.

Tina and Travis had planned everything down to the tiniest details, and it all came together brilliantly. From the poignant toasts to the fun garter toss, there wasn’t a dull moment in sight. And let’s talk about that first dance – we were practically swooning behind our cameras as the couple swayed to Keith Urban’s Only You Can Love Me This Way. To top it off, DJ Matt Rufio kept the party going all night long, and it was clear that everyone was having the time of their lives!
