Who could resist a beautiful outdoor wedding? Definitely not us! We were thrilled to capture every moment of Julia and Eric’s wedding at The Purple Orchid. These two lovebirds met on Hinge, and their proposal story is straight out of a movie. Imagine this: a romantic night out, walking home hand-in-hand, only to be surprised with champagne and flowers in the backyard. Eric got down on one knee, and the rest is history. Throughout their wedding planning process, Julia and Eric loved getting everyone together and planning it out. And even with what seemed like a gazillion things on their to-do list, these two sprinkled their magic on every single detail. Witnessing their happiness and unique style shine through on their special day was like a front-row seat to pure awesomeness!

The Purple Orchid set the perfect stage for Julia and Eric’s incredible union! If we could relive that day over and over again, we would totally! The highlight was, hands down, capturing Julia’s getting ready moments with her girls. And to top it all off, the convenience of everyone getting ready on-site at the spa hotel added an extra touch of stress-free relaxation to the morning.

Julia was an absolute vision in her Allure wedding dress from Flares Bridal. With her flawless hair and makeup by Bay Area Beautiful, she looked stunning as she stepped into the spotlight. Of course, Eric was no exception to the style game. He rocked a dapper Studio Suits wedding suit that perfectly complemented Julia’s beauty.

Surrounded by sprawling vineyards and picturesque olive trees, nature provided the most stunning backdrop for the couple’s union. With anticipation, Julia and Eric radiated excitement as they prepared to say their vows. The ceremony backdrop, adorned with lush greenery and gorgeous burgundy, and white florals, took everyone’s breath away. A special mention goes to the incredibly talented florist, Delford West, for their exquisite work. As Julia and Eric exchanged heartfelt vows, their smiles said it all about their love!

The picturesque backdrops we scouted for the newlyweds’ couples portraits were to die for, and the golden light made everything look effortlessly romantic. Seeing the newlyweds bask in the sun’s warm glow was truly something special. Whether giggling, kissing, or walking hand-in-hand, their love for each other was undeniable and made our job a breeze. Words can’t capture how fantastic and unreal those moments felt, which clearly shows in the stunning images.

Celebrating The Newlyweds

The outdoor reception was everything and more! There’s nothing quite like dining al fresco surrounded by vineyards and olive trees. And the lighting? WOW. Fantasy Sound had a simplistic yet stunning décor featuring dazzling string lights. We have to give a quick shout-out to the other amazing vendors that helped make this event picture-perfect – Pleasanton Rentals for the linens and rentals, Minted for the invitations, and On the Vine for the delicious catering. Oh, and let’s not forget the wonderful cake and cupcakes spread, courtesy of Life is Sweet Bakery and Cafe.

It was finally time to let loose and party. Fantasy Sound knew precisely how to keep the energy high, playing the perfect beats that had everyone dancing all night. But the real showstopper was Julia and Eric’s first dance, choreographed by none other than the bride herself – it was captivating! Seeing the couple in love and in sync on the stage was magical. Before we knew it, the dance floor was packed with guests. What followed was a truly unforgettable evening filled with pure joy, infectious laughter, and an overwhelming sense of love.
