There are numerous elements that make each wedding unique and beautiful; the story of how the couple met, the decorations at the venue…every detail carries its own significance. As wedding photographers, we’re so grateful for the opportunity to capture the precious memories of our couples – it never ceases to bring us joy! Maggie and Colin’s wedding at Sunol’s Casa Bella in California was a day full of fun and happiness. From their outdoor wedding ceremony to their stunning indoor reception, everything was gorgeous and perfect. Here’s a glimpse into their wedding day.

Maggie And Colin’s Love Story

We absolutely love getting to know our couples and hearing all about their unique story. Every couple has a different story – one that is meaningful in its own way. We enjoy hearing how they met and fell in love – it’s just as important to us as any other details of the big day.

Colin and Maggie met when Colin was a witness in one of Maggie’s cases (yes, they met in court!). Colin was quite friendly and the two struck a cord instantly. The two quickly became friends and maintained that friendship for some time, but Colin never got up the nerve to ask Maggie out. But when Colin received a text from Maggie inviting him to her birthday party, he jumped on the invite because he had a secret crush on her from the start, admiring her from the not-so-glorious courtrooms of the Hall of Justice. During the party, Colin and Maggie had the time of their lives, dancing the night away and the rest is history. Now that’s a love story!

Maggie And Colin’s Wedding At Sunol’s Casa Bella

Just like with most couples, Colin and Maggie’s wedding initially was postponed due to COVID-19. However, they also had to postpone their wedding a second time on their rescheduled date due to poor air quality caused by raging fires in the area. But as they say, the third time’s the charm! The lovely couple finally tied the knot at Sunol’s Casa Bella and they couldn’t have found a better place for their romantic wedding.

We began capturing Maggie and Colin’s wedding day by documenting the getting-ready moments. A glowing Maggie looked stunning in her wedding dress as her bridesmaid helped with all the final touches. Meanwhile, Colin looked dashing in his bow tie with a beautiful boutonniere pinned on his coat. Before their wedding ceremony, Colin and Maggie did a quick first look. Maggie walked up to Colin and tapped his shoulder. As soon as Colin turned around to see Maggie, he was awestruck by her beauty. They looked at each other with so much admiration and happiness, and we’re so glad to have captured these precious moments for them.

Colin and Maggie had a dreamy outdoor ceremony at 4 PM. Maggie walked down the aisle with mother and father, while Colin stood tall and handsome at the altar. The couple had a magical wedding ceremony under the venue’s beautifully decorated gazebo, draped with white linen and adorned with fresh flowers. The weather was pleasant, with a gentle breeze blowing and the warm glow of the sun casting a magical spell as Colin and Maggie said their heartfelt vows and sealed their marriage with a sweet kiss. After being pronounced husband and wife, we whisked away Maggie and Colin for some photos of just the two of them.

As we captured images of the newlyweds enjoying their new beginning together, they were all smiles – laughing, and warmly embracing each other from time to time, making the best memories together. One of our favorite pictures of Colin and Maggie was when they broke out into a dance with Colin twirling Maggie around. It was such an adorable moment!

Maggie and Colin’s wedding reception was a sight to behold. The room was filled with chandeliers and lights hanging from the ceiling, setting an enchanting atmosphere for the exquisite party. Colin and Maggie certainly did a lot of planning and the results were absolutely phenomenal.

The newlyweds were surrounded by so much love and the toasts were a true testament to the love they share with each other as well as their families. The love these two have for each other was palpable – it was like they moved in unison together. Their first dance was magical as Colin spun Maggie on the dancefloor, and their wedding cake was a sweet two-tiered bundt cake! Colin and Maggie’s happiness radiated throughout the day with their loved ones joining them on the dance floor and creating memories that will last forever.
