There’s something so special about Catholic weddings, there is so much tradition and beauty to the ceremony in and of itself. Fernando and Aida’s Spanish wedding at Palm Event Center began at the St Michael Catholic Church in Livermore, where they celebrated their love with all of their closest family and friends. Fernando’s expression when he saw Aida for the first time is something I know I’ll never forget – so sweet and tender, and filled with so much love.
Following their Catholic ceremony, their Spanish wedding at Palm Event Center began! Their reception was filled with nods to their Spanish heritage – including signage in Spanish and a mariachi band. Live music always takes receptions up a notch, and mariachi bands are always so fun. Together, Aida and Fernando swayed to Amor del Bueno by Reyli for their first dance, listened to touching toasts from their loved ones and danced the night away!
HOW FERNANDO AND AIDA MET AND THE PROPOSAL STORY
I am a big believer that timing is so important in life, and that two people can be absolutely meant for each other. Fernando and Aida prove my beliefs right, too! You see, they actually met many years ago but it wasn’t the right time for them to fall in love. However, when their paths crossed again later in life, it was the right time and now here we are, celebrating their wedding! When it came time for Fernando to propose to Aida, he actually made it extra special. He popped the question right in front of the restaurant where they had their first date. Isn’t that so thoughtful and special??
