We had the privilege of capturing Sophia’s senior portraits – a mini senior shoot packed with energy and personality. Taking only 30 minutes, this mini senior portrait session took place in May, just in time to capture the summer sun and warmth. We’ve known Sophia and her family for years, starting with her mother’s wedding at Elliston Vineyards. 

Sophia, part of the Class of 2023, is studying at Sacramento State University – a student-athlete and cheerleader in high school. This session was about celebrating her many accomplishments and ensuring her personality and character shone through in every shot. Our backdrop was lush greenery that only added to the gorgeous display. We had a blast capturing her enthusiasm, and it was incredible to witness her confidence and spirit shine through in every frame.

Sophia’s Pleasanton Mini Senior Portrait Session

It was a beautiful sunny day in Pleasanton, California, as we got ready to photograph Sophia’s mini senior portrait session. As we started the shoot, we were immediately taken with the breathtaking scenery and the natural beauty around us. 

It was clear that Sophia had meticulously planned every aspect of her mini senior portrait session. She had not one, not two, but three different outfits for the shoot, which beautifully showcased her personality. She started with a stunning white dress and dusky pink heels. The sprawling greenery, bright sunshine, and natural beauty of the space added so much beauty to bring out the best of Sophia’s portraits. Her confidence, reflected in her constant smile, struck us the most.

For the second outfit, Sophia changed into stylish jeans and a white top, bringing out her fun and carefree spirit. We wanted to give her a mix of casual and formal poses to showcase her individuality and personality. Whether she was standing next to a tree or with the sun rays filtering through the leaves, Sophia’s natural smile, grace, and poise made for a great shot. We loved capturing her as she posed with her “Sac State” banner, holding it up with a charming smile and immense pride!

Sophia’s glowing smile and confident demeanor were a perfect match for the warm tones of the natural setting. She donned a Sac State crop top for the final outfit change, which beautifully emphasized her school pride. It was an absolute joy to capture the essence of this remarkable young lady. Each pose highlighted her beauty and grace. Her self-assurance and infectious personality added an enigmatic element to the session, making it a memorable experience.
