Scott + Taylor [Married] Downtown Danville // East Bay Wedding Photographer

I have a special little place in my heart for the sweet Town of Danville. I was raised there, went to school there and met my husband there.  It was only natural when Taylor contacted me and told me the location of her and Scott’s wedding, I got all gitty with excitement. We met at Sideboard in Downtown Danville and a match was made over some very yummy lemon roasted brussel sprouts!

A short three weeks later [did I forget to mention that – they put together the whole shindig in about 6 weeks!] I drove a short 10 minutes to my hometown and began capturing some amazing love. The support and love that everyone at the wedding had for Scott and Taylor was palpable. Lifelong friends and family old and young came out to celebrate this couple that had been together for nearly 11 years.

Their ceremony took place on the town green, located in front of the Danville Library. It was such a beautiful Fall afternoon – with the Oaks turning all shades yellow, orange and reds flanked by an arch of white chairs, the scene was set perfectly.

The ceremony was officiated by Scott’s youth pastor – someone that has guided him since he was young and has helped guide both Scott and Taylor in their relationship together.

The reception was held right next door at the Danville Community Center. With stunning vaulted ceilings and beautiful wood floors, guests were able to easily move, mingle and enjoy the evening.

The Cake. Oh, THE Cake. Next to their touching ceremony, this was the high light of the evening.  You see, Scott and Taylor are expecting a little bundle of joy this Spring – so they decided to incorporate the excitement into their wedding day.  Their cake was a gender reveal cake.  The only person who knew what they were expecting what Katrina Rozelle, the pastry chef. Everyone gathered so closely next to the cake hoping to get the first peek at its color…

I can’t wait to watch Scott and Taylor become parents to their little baby girl. They are grounded strongly in family, love and support and share such an amazing love and passion for one another – A lifetime of love and happiness is clearly in their future (and more babies)!
