Jessie + Dominic // Saint Mary’s College and Bridges Wedding

Back in the summer of 2015, fate decided to play matchmaker when Jessie and Dominic crossed paths at Saint Mary’s College of California. Little did they know that this initial meeting would set the stage for an incredible journey. Fast forward to a dreamy Hawaiian proposal on Lanikai beach – Dominic popped the question on the day after their 6-year dating anniversary; talk about timing! And when it came to getting married, the couple decided to set the date on their 7-year dating anniversary!

Jessie and Dominic enjoyed scrolling through Pinterest, YouTube, and Instagram for all those wedding inspo pics and videos. Jessie also joked about how wedding planning became her “second job” – girl, we feel you! But let’s talk about the results – they pulled off a wedding that left us all in awe. From that sweet first look at Lafayette Park Hotel to their ceremony at Saint Mary’s College Chapel and the jaw-dropping reception at The Bridges Golf Club – every moment was a masterpiece!

Jessie And Dominic’s Wedding At Saint Mary’s College Chapel

The day started with us capturing the buzz and energy at Lafayette Park Hotel, where Jessie and Dominic were getting ready. Jessie and her squad were having a blast, sipping some bubbly and getting all set. Then came the magical moment when she slipped into her stunning wedding dress from Grace Loves Lace – seriously, she looked phenomenal! Big shout-out to the fantastic team at A Touch of MUAH for working their magic on Jessie. And, of course, Dominic was looking sharp and dapper in his Men’s Wearhouse suit, all ready to sweep Jessie off her feet.

The most heartwarming moment was undoubtedly the first look. Jessie gracefully descended the grand staircase and tapped Dominic’s shoulder to turn around. As they saw each other, their smiles said it all! They were so happy to see one another; their reactions made for such great wedding pictures.

Soon enough, it was time to tie the knot at Saint Mary’s College Chapel, a stunning venue that requires you to be an alumnus to get married there. Talk about exclusivity, right? The chapel’s architecture was impressive, with its high arches and detailed sculptures. And those stained glass windows? They were something else! Especially when the light came through, they looked almost otherworldly. But it wasn’t just the setting that made this union special. Jessie and Dominic’s love radiated as they exchanged vows and said “I do” to a lifetime of happiness and togetherness.

After the ceremony, we went to the great outdoors to photograph all the happy post-wedding vibes! The wedding party was so much fun to work with, and they were real troopers, posing confidently against the backdrop of the stunning chapel. The bridesmaids’ burgundy-colored dresses from David’s Bridal complemented the surroundings, and to top it all off, the breathtaking bouquets by The Flower House added an extra touch of enchantment to the group portraits.

Celebrating The Newlyweds

Moving on to the next chapter of this incredible day, we took Jessie and Dominic to the beautiful outdoors of The Bridges Golf Club for their couples’ portraits, and it was fantastic! The lighting during the golden hour was simply stunning, and with the backdrop of rolling hills and lush greenery, it couldn’t have been better. These two were complete romantics, and their love shined bright in every frame.

We were genuinely impressed by the reception that Jessie and Dominic hosted at The Bridges Golf Club. Their choice of burgundy, blush, and white colors showcased their impeccable style and classic taste. Everything was done with a refined touch, from the elegant Napa Valley Linens to the stylish invitations from Zazzle. They even handed out charming favors from Honolulu Cookie Company and Koozies! Fantasy Sound Events contributed to the enchantment by providing a lovely photo booth, a custom gobo, and wooden walls with their initials “J&D” – a unique and personal touch that set the tone for the event. Special kudos to Nicole Taylor, the incredible coordinator, and Matter Video, the talented videographers, for their exceptional work and cooperation throughout the day!

For their first dance, Jessie and Dominic moved gracefully to the tune of “This Is It” by Scotty McCreery and soon cut their wedding cake, which was created to perfection by Cake Delight, but our favorite moment had to be capturing the candid moment when love was in the air when the newlyweds and their parents hit the dance floor together. With Kalvin Latham’s tunes playing in the background, they were all lost in their little bubble of love and happiness – it was beautiful to see!
