Weddings are a celebration of love, unity, and joy, where every moment is a testament to the couple’s unique story and their journey together. Ashley and Ryan’s wedding exemplified this seamlessly blending elegance, excitement, and heartfelt moments into a truly memorable day. Let’s dive into the heartwarming story of Ashley and Ryan’s wedding day, where every moment was a celebration of their love.

The Couple’s Journey

Ashley and Ryan’s love story began in high school, and despite the challenges of a long-distance relationship, their bond only grew stronger. Ryan’s athletic career took him to Tulane University in New Orleans, while Ashley excelled in soccer at the University of Northern Colorado. Ryan’s proposal was a picture-perfect moment that set the stage for their incredible wedding day. On a sailboat in Maui, with the sun setting over the ocean, he asked Ashley to marry him.

Now residing in Minneapolis, they faced the unique challenge of planning their California wedding from afar. With the support and help of their families, they turned their vision into reality, creating a day that perfectly reflected their personalities and love stories.

Ashley And Ryan’s Wedding At Saint Joan Of Arc

Surrounded by her closest friends, Ashley’s joy was evident as her hair stylist Brooke Belle, and makeup artist from Status Salon Agency got her ready. The atmosphere was filled with laughter and excitement as the bride and her bridesmaids got together for some group shots. When Ashley stepped into her wedding dress from Janene’s Bridal, designed by Allure Bridal, she looked breathtaking. Meanwhile, Ryan, looking sharp in his black suit and bowtie from King Brothers Clothiers in Minneapolis, was every bit the dashing groom. (Fun fact: Ryan now plays for the Minnesota Vikings! How awesome is that?)

The ceremony took place at Saint Joan of Arc Catholic Church in San Ramon, a venue that provided a stunning backdrop for their vows. The church’s magnificent interiors, bathed in a mix of artificial and natural light, created a bright and airy atmosphere that perfectly complemented the couple’s love. As Ashley walked down the aisle, Ryan’s emotional reaction to seeing her for the first time was a highlight of the ceremony. Their heartfelt vows and the joyous applause from their guests marked the beginning of their new life together, making for a truly touching and memorable ceremony.

Following the ceremony, we headed to Palm Event Center for some newlywed portraits. The venue’s fairytale charm, with its lush greenery and expansive grounds, provided the ideal setting for capturing Ashley and Ryan’s love. They were so adorable in front of the camera, effortlessly showcasing their connection and joy. Their genuine happiness translated into beautiful, candid photos. We also had the pleasure of photographing the bride and groom with their wedding party, adding a fun and relaxed element to the day that was enjoyed by all.

As the evening unfolded, the reception at Palm Event Center became a vibrant celebration of love and joy. DJ Rich Media set the mood with his fantastic beats, creating an atmosphere that was both lively and romantic. The dance floor came alive with guests dancing, singing, and celebrating the newlyweds. The first dance, set to Brad Paisley’s “Then,” was a romantic highlight, and the joyful cake cutting, with a beautiful creation from Cake Delight, added to the celebration. The couple’s smiles and the warm delight shared among guests made the night truly unforgettable. The photo booth from Fantasy Sound Events provided additional fun, giving guests a chance to capture their own memories from the celebration.

The success of Ashley and Ryan’s wedding was made possible by a team of exceptional vendors who brought their talents to the day. The Flower House added elegance with its stunning floral arrangements, while Interstellar Films captured every precious moment on film.
