We’ve had the privilege of capturing some of the most amazing and special moments for our incredible couples. It gets even more precious when they bond and share the love, celebrating life’s beautiful milestones. Haley and Alex are one such fantastic couple for whom we photographed their intimate wedding in September 2019. They had initially desired a fall 2020 wedding, but luckily, they opted for a short engagement instead. Fast forward to 2023, and we were there to document their Pleasanton maternity session. It was every bit wonderful, simply spending time with this lovely couple. Haley, radiant and visibly bubbling with anticipation for motherhood, was paired perfectly with Alex’s unwavering support. We loved how the anticipation for their upcoming bundle of joy was mirrored in the breathtaking surroundings – a charming blend of serenity and excitement!

Photographing Haley’s Pleasanton Maternity Session

Our 30-minute mini-maternity session was filled with love, laughter, and an abundance of natural beauty. The vast meadows filled with lush greens and trees provided the most beautiful backdrop for Haley’s maternity shoot. Plus, her flowy gown matched perfectly with the natural colors of the environment, and it was as if Mother Nature herself had selected the perfect place for their portraits. We couldn’t have asked for a better day, and the weather was kind enough to us, giving us ideal light and warmth throughout the session.

Haley was radiant, wearing a stunning pastel green dress that made her look like a goddess in the middle of sprawling greens and woods. Every movement she made was like watching a graceful swan gliding on a pond. Her poise, serene demeanor, and the way she smiled were enchanting. It was apparent that she was glowing not only from the outside but from within.

Alex was her perfect complement. In his comfy shirt and jeans, he looked confident and relaxed, exuding a sense of calm and strength. Watching the two of them together created a serene and peaceful environment that made us feel grateful for the opportunity to capture their love and affection for their baby boy. Their bond was inspiring and heartwarming, and it’s no wonder that they aced every pose with so much grace and beauty. 

As we ventured further into the woods, it felt like we were exploring a love-filled paradise. Every angle, every nook and corner presented an opportunity for a gorgeous shot. We created a mix of posed and candid photos that captured the essence of Haley and Alex’s personalities. From their gentle kisses to walking hand-in-hand with each other, every picture we took was a testament to their love and the excitement of becoming parents. 

We were thrilled when they brought out a sweet little onesie with “Lucky #4” printed on it! The most captivating moment of the shoot was the way Haley held her baby bump. It was as if she had a treasure within, and every time, she placed her hands on her belly. It was a beautiful sight to behold, and we knew then that Haley and Alex would welcome their baby boy into a world filled with love, warmth, and tenderness.
