Meet Amanda and JD, a sassy, modern, and fun couple who met through mutual friends. They had an adventure-filled proposal – JD took a reluctant Amanda on a seemingly endless hike (with some kicking and screaming involved!) before finally getting down on one knee. With the help of Duds, he captured the perfect proposal moment, and, of course, Amanda said “yes”. Their Palm Event Center wedding was the ultimate celebration of their love. And the reception was especially unforgettable, with so many personalized touches and non-stop dancing. The whole day was about creating memories and having a blast with their cherished friends and family, and we couldn’t be more excited to share their love story with you!

Amanda And JD’s Palm Event Center Wedding

We started the day photographing Amanda and JD’s getting ready moments. Amanda looked ravishing in Enzoani Bridal Gown from Papers and Petals Bridal, and her hair and makeup by Kristen-Leizl Borja were on point. The vibrant bridal bouquet, by Delford West Flowers, perfectly complemented Amanda’s look. JD looked dapper in his cream-colored suit from Henry’s, Pleasanton. And the wedding party? They looked like a million bucks, with the bridesmaids in beautiful green dresses by Azazi and the groomsmen in stylish suits by Black Tux Rental.

The first look between Amanda and JD was absolutely endearing. Amanda got a little teary-eyed, and that seriously melted our hearts. You could totally feel the love and connection between these two lovebirds, and we felt incredibly lucky to be able to capture those timeless memories for the lovely couple.

The Palm Event Center was the ideal spot for Amanda and JD’s dreamy outdoor wedding ceremony. But you know what truly stole the show? The look of pure love and adoration on JD’s face when he saw Amanda walking down the aisle. They said their “I dos” surrounded by the gorgeous backdrop of rolling hills, clear blue skies, and lush greenery.

After the ceremony, it was time for the couples portraits. We hit the jackpot with the venue! Every inch of the Palm Event Center was a photographer’s dream, with rolling hills, tall palm trees, and that rustic vineyard vibe. We were entranced, but not as much as Amanda and JD, who were basking in the “newlywed” glow. Giggles, stolen kisses, and dancing – it was like they were in their own little world.

Amanda and JD’s reception was all about those personal touches that made it uniquely theirs. Gold accents everywhere, and it totally matched their style. A big shout-out to the delicious late-night treat, donut flambé, by Palm Event Center. And kudos to Zazzle for the stunning invitations. Plus, those tie-dyed napkins on the tables was such a cool idea! Turns out, the couple made them during their wedding shower, which was themed “Tye Dyeing the Knot”, with the help of their friends and family. It’s those little details that show just how much love and thought they put into everything.

Amanda and JD took the dance floor by storm for their first dance, swaying to the tune of “It’s Only Us” by Monophonics (Acoustic Version), and to say we were floored would be an understatement. But you know what really stole the show? Amanda changed into a super fun fringe piece for dancing. She rocked it, and we couldn’t get enough of it! And let us not forget the brilliant DJ/Band Kevin Dennis from Fantasy Sound, who kept the party going all night long. Oh, and how could we forget the photo booth? It was an absolute hit! It added an extra touch of joy and laughter to the celebration.
