Doug and Allison had a beautiful wedding at the Palm Event Center in Pleasanton. It was a beautiful day outside, and the venue was truly a wedding photography dream. The couple had started planning their wedding at the beginning of the pandemic and mentioned the most challenging part of it all was the sacrifices they had to make because of COVID. But between all the hiccups, it was the small details that were their favorite part of wedding planning – and they had definitely put in a lot of work when it came to the details! Here’s a glimpse of the amazing wedding.
Meet Doug And Allison
Doug and Allison’s love story began in high school when they met at Bishop O’Dowd. This was only the beginning, as they quickly became friends, but it was a few years later that they reconnected and fell in love. Doug proposed to Allison at the Fairmont San Francisco, a few blocks away from their apartment at the time. They were both thrilled and couldn’t wait to start their new journey soon!
Doug And Allison’s Pleasanton Wedding
We started the day by taking photographs of Allison as she got ready with her bridesmaids. She was having so much fun with her bridal party, and it was wonderful to see the bond between them and how much they all doted on the bride. Allison looked gorgeous in her wedding dress from Janene’s Bridal Boutique and Essence of Australia. Also, the hair and makeup team at Bloom and Blush ensured that the bride looked picture-perfect.
Doug and Allison had the sweetest first look! They were both very excited, and we were so glad to capture the special moment. Soon, the couple was joined by the bridesmaids and groomsmen for the group photos. The wedding party looked so stylish thanks to Birdy Grey (bridesmaid dress designer) and Generation Tux (suit).
Doug and Allison’s wedding at Palm Event Center was a perfect day. It is a stunning venue, and the hills and sprawling grounds provided lovely backdrops for the beautiful outdoor ceremony photos. The decorations were incredible. We couldn’t get enough of the floral decorations by Delford West and the impeccable invitations by Minted.
It was a lovely ceremony with the couple’s close friends and family, who had gathered to celebrate their union. Our heart was full of love when we saw Allison walking down the aisle with her father. It was such a touching father-daughter moment. The bride and groom were smiling ear to ear as they said their vows! It was clear that these two were super excited to get married, and we were glad to be the ones who got to document their big day.
The newlyweds were complete romantics when it came to taking the couples portraits. The scenery and the majestic palm trees made for stunning backdrops, and the warm golden light on the verdant grounds was ideal for their wedding photos. Hardly needing any posing cues from us, Doug and Allison were total pros while posing for their solo and couples portraits.
Doug and Allison’s wedding reception was beautiful. One of our favorite moments was when the couple took shots at the bar together. They were surrounded by their loved ones, who were cheering them on and dancing all night to the beats of DJ Jeremy. The videography team from Amos Productions did an amazing job documenting every little moment at the wedding. The couple went with a cake by Cake Creations by Bev, who made, if not THE, then one of the most elegant cakes ever. The whole day was just perfect, and we are so happy we were able to capture it for our couple.
