Reggie + Kristel // Mission Santa Clara and Casa Real Wedding

Reggie and Kristel’s wedding, held at Mission Santa Clara, was a beautiful testament to their enduring love. They had weathered not just one, but two postponements. The choice to delay the wedding for the second time was challenging, yet they knew it was the right decision. At last, the much-anticipated day unfolded, almost like a dream. Holding hands, surrounded by dear ones, they were prepared to exchange vows. The ceremony venue exuded a timeless elegance, while the picturesque campus of Santa Clara University lent an additional charm to the event. Their wedding had it all – heartfelt moments, lots of laughter, and non-stop celebration.

Reggie And Kristel’s Love Story

Let’s start from the beginning! Reggie and Kristel’s love story began at Santa Clara University. It was here where they first crossed paths, kindling a bond that would grow stronger over time. As fate would have it, they would return to get married at Mission Santa Clara (which is located on the university campus).

It was during their 2018 vacation in Paris that Reggie surprised Kristel with a proposal in the idyllic Tuileries Garden. It was a magical moment that caught Kristel completely by surprise! Reggie had secretly arranged for a photographer and a videographer to be present, cleverly disguised as tourists nearby. They secretly captured every second of this momentous occasion.

Reggie And Kristel’s Wedding At Mission Santa Clara

The couple had a wonderful church wedding in the presence of their loved ones. Dressed in a gorgeous wedding dress by Liancarlo, Kristel looked like a princess straight out of a fairy tale. And her delicate veil and bouquet were the perfect finishing touches to her ensemble. As Kristel made her way up the church steps, tears welled up in Kristel’s eyes. And at the altar stood Reggie, donned in a sleek suit and bow tie from The Black Tux. His eyes were on Kristel the entire time, and he had tears brimming in his eyes, too. It was such an emotional moment, and I was glad to have captured it.

The catholic ceremony was filled with reverence and love. The priest’s words resonated deeply as Reggie and Kristel held each other’s hands. It was evident that they connected on a spiritual level too. In a heartwarming ceremony, the couple exchanged heartfelt vows and shared a tender kiss. And the entire congregation erupted in applause and joy!

The Reception Party At Casa Real

But before the couple and their guests could put on their party hats, we decided to capture group and couples portraits. The bridesmaids looked stunning in their blush-pink dresses by Jenny Yoo. The groomsmen rocked their classic black and white attire. But let’s talk about the newlyweds – the stars of the show! The way they looked at each other, it was enough to make hearts melt. Their beaming smiles and affectionate glances made my job an absolute delight.

The reception of Reggie and Kristel was an elegant affair. The hall was illuminated by yellow lighting, and the tables were adorned with exquisite linens from Pleasanton Rentals. The meticulously crafted floral arch by Nicole Ha behind the head table left everyone in awe. Family and friends delivered speeches that made the newlyweds laugh out loud. Then, it was time for the couple’s first dance to the music of “Spent My Life With You” by Eric Benet ft. Tamia – all captured flawlessly by Collideskope. DJ John Laxa and The Souled-Out Underground later took the stage, setting the dance floor on fire and ensuring a night of non-stop celebration.
