You know how you can just tell when a couple is so head-over-heels in love by the way they look at each other? This is how to describe the love between Melanie and Adam! This sweet couple got married in late May at the Stonetree Golf Club in Novato. Adam proposed to Melanie last summer in Hawaii. After close to a year of wedding planning, their big day finally arrived.
Melanie and her bridesmaids prepared for the day at a beautiful inn in Sonoma. The ladies all wore shirts saying “Best day ever!”, the bridesmaids wearing black as the bride wore white. While they got ready for the day, Melanie gave them pink, silky robes with their monograms on them. Melanie’s face lit up as she gently handled her strapless lace wedding dress. She had known that this dress was The One early on in the dress shopping process. Melanie’s mother and her bridesmaids helped button the row of buttons running down her back. As the bride put on the finishing touches, she was glowing and gorgeous.
Adam got to see his beautiful bride for the first time that day during the First Look photo shoot. Melanie walked down the ivy-lined walkway beaming with joy. When Adam turned around, they were so thrilled to see each other. They spent a few moments enjoy each others’ company before the ceremony began.
Guests arrived at the ceremony and were greeted by a welcome sign and arrangements of flowers sitting on beautiful wooden pillars. The pillars were a special project that the couple worked on just for the ceremony! As Adam and his parents walked down the aisle, they were so happy and filled with joy. Melanie walked down the aisle, escorted by her father. She wore a long, flowing veil in her hair, and held a bouquet of white roses and hydrangeas, with just a hint of blush. Melanie and Adam said their vows, confirming their loving commitment to each other. They sealed their vows with a ring and a kiss, and headed back up the aisle. After greeting some friends and family, they headed off to their first photo session as a married couple. It was so sweet to see the way Melanie and Adam connected with each other during this time! They were so playful and sweet together!
The guests headed into the dining room. It was decorated with gold accents, and a centerpiece of white flowers rested on every table. The party favors, small bags made in Peru and filled with goodies, made a fun, festive addition to the space! The Coopers were announced, and they shared their first dance together. Then, Melanie shared a dance with her father as Adam shared a dance with his mother. There were other sweet traditions throughout the night, like cutting the cake and tossing the bouquet.
The guests were so happy to celebrate this beautiful marriage. They hit the dance floor and let loose. The guests, as well as Melanie and Adam, will undoubtedly have many amazing memories from that beautiful day for a long time to come!

What the Cooper’s said about working with Hazy Lane Studios:
“No need to look any further! She is the best! I picked her simply because I saw a wedding she did and LOVED her work. Then we met, and instantly she knew my vision. Karey was one of the best vendors we had at our wedding. We still get countless compliments on our wedding pics!! Karey is all the things. Seriously. You can not go wrong. She’s got an amazing eye and made us both look and feel natural! Our pics are the perfect balance of posed shots and natural poses. And the lighting is always perfection. You will be in amazing hands with Karey-and boy does she deliver! We hope to use Karey again in the future!”
