Napa Valley Wedding at V. Sattui Winery // Jon & Jacqlyn

Jon and Jacqlyn were married on a beautiful (and really hot) day in July. They came to me as a referral from the Jones/Louks family, whose wedding I photographed in 2016 (check it out – you won’t regret it). The first time I met Jacqlyn, I knew it was meant to be! Working with her and Jon was as delightful as it could get. They were easy going and trusted their vendor team all the way. I had previously worked with their coordinator, Carli Rose Events (she’s the best) and their videographer, Matter Video (he’s the best, too), which made the day go so smoothly, you would have never known it was over 100* that day!

J & J’s ceremony took place out on the lawn, with the tower of V. Sattui as a backdrop. The ceremony was quick and sweet (have I mentioned how hot it was?) and post-ceremony, guests flocked to the back lawn for a private cocktail hour full of wine and appetizers. Their timeline couldn’t have been more perfect (Carli Rose Events really is the best), as we wrapped up our sunset photos, guests were escorted downstairs to the barrel room to begin the reception.

Enjoy all the little details of this perfect day.

Wonder what J+J thought about Karey?

Here you go (posted on The Knot):

“Karey is worth her weight in gold as a wedding photographer. In my opinion, there are two things to look out for when booking a photographer – first, do they take good photos? Her work speaks for itself. Her style is soft and romantic, yet her attention to detail is stunning. Each photo has so many more layers to it than first meets the eye, and with 1,700 from our day to choose from, there was no element of the day that was missed. Second, and most importantly, Karey is incredible to work with. Her experience and professionalism went SO FAR in planning for our wedding. I felt I could completely trust in her to do her job, which left me with one less thing to worry about on the big day. She was incredibly open to hearing about my style and preferences and got all of the shots I told her were important. She kept the wedding party and family in line, was quick and efficient, and made my husband and I feel so at ease during our couple photos. She had previously worked with my planner and videographers – and it was evident that they knew when to get in and out of eachothers way, and the final products were all the better for it. Thank you, Karey, for capturing our memories forever!”
