There is nothing better than a fall senior portrait session in San Ramon! I thoroughly enjoyed photographing and spending time with Summer this October. She is a beautiful young lady on the cusp of graduating from high school and preparing to take the next steps toward her future and all the wonderful things that it will hold.

Meet Summer

Summer is a remarkable young woman. She is involved in her school’s leadership program, plays Varsity soccer and will be graduating in 2025 from Dougherty Valley High School. I first met Summer and her mom over 10 years ago when she played softball with my daughter. While we didn’t return to softball the following year, Summer and Hayden ended up on the same competitive soccer team a few years afterward. When Summer’s mom reached out to me to capture Summer’s senior pictures I was thrilled! It was a joy to reconnect with her mom and Summer and capture all the smiles. 

Summer’s Senior Pictures in San Ramon

You can tell by the photos that Summer absolutely rocked her senior pictures. Her hair was on point – long and loose with just a little beachy wave. Her makeup was natural but perfect. And her three outfits were all so good! I loved that she incorporated her letterman jacket celebrating all her scholastic and sports achievements. The striped sweater was cozy and cute. And her last look, a sweet blue flowered summer dress, was the perfect choice for a jump shot which we just had to capture! The location we chose was the perfect backdrop. The sun came in through the trees that bordered the field and created some fantastic backlight. The brown tones of the ground gave the session a rustic fall vibe. And I found the perfect tree with a massive trunk to incorporate – it was a great natural place to stand, lean, and sit.
