If you need to know anything about me, know this: I LOVE DISNEY. So anytime I have the opportunity to photograph Disney inspired weddings, hang out with fellow Disney lovers or do anything Disney related – I am all for it!! Meeting an incredible couple like Tim and Jennifer was just the icing on the Mickey-and-Minnie-topper cake!

Tim and Jennifer love going to the gym, and that is actually where they first met, through a mutual friend. They both absolutely love Disney, and that shared love played a huge role in how Tim proposed. Jennifer’s love of RunDisney races brought them both to Walt Disney World in Florida, a truly magical destination. Tim and Jennifer would be participating in RunDisney races for the weekend. After a sticky and HOT 5K, they made their way through a few of the parks, however, Tim was very insistent on going back to the Magic Kingdom specifically so they could get a picture in front of the Walt Disney World Castle.

After making their way to the park for the second time that day and waiting in line for the perfect photo spot, the photographer started snapping pictures. He kept prompting all sorts of goofy poses when out of the blue Tim said, “I have a better pose.” He got down on one knee right in front of the Walt Disney statue and castle and asked Jennifer to marry him! Of course, she said Yes!

Could that be any more romantic?! I don’t think so!!

Their Catholic wedding ceremony took place in nearby San Ramon at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, with a reception that followed at Blackhawk Country Club in Danville. All of their wedding details were Disney inspired, including their guest seating chart as well as their guest signing castle, which was something I’d never seen before – and I loved it!
