Sarah And Nabil’s Casa Real At Ruby Hill Winery Wedding

We’ve been fortunate to photograph countless weddings, and each one has been a unique and wonderful experience! Sure, the traditional elements like the ceremony and readings might seem familiar. But it’s the little moments in between that really make each wedding memorable! All the hard work that goes into creating the perfect wedding photos is worth it when we see the joy and happiness on the faces of our couples and their families. Sarah and Nabil were another lovely couple whose Casa Real At Ruby Hill Winery wedding left us swooning. It was a beautiful day, and the lovebirds enjoyed each second of their special day. Here’s a glimpse of Sarah and Nabil’s dazzling wedding!

Meet The Couple

Sarah and Nabil’s love story started six years ago when they were introduced by their best friends, Mike and Allie, at a pool party. From that moment on, they hit it off, and the rest is history! Fast forward to their fifth anniversary, where Nabil planned a surprise proposal. He took Sarah to Carmel and drove down the iconic 17 Mile Drive to Pebble Beach, where they had one of their first few dates. Nabil asked Sarah to be his forever, and of course, Sarah said yes!

When we asked the couple about their favorite part of the wedding planning process, they said, “Everything has been pretty fun! We feel very fortunate to have so many incredible vendors we fully trust.” Sarah also gushed about how much she loved collaborating with Laura from LC Florals on the floral arrangements and wedding vision. As wedding vendors, we understand how important it is to have a strong team who can work together seamlessly to bring a couple’s vision to life.

However, wedding planning isn’t all rainbows and butterflies. Sarah also opened up about the hardest part of the process. Planning out the minute details of the wedding was particularly challenging, as she and Nabil just didn’t know how to prioritize them. And I’m sure a lot of you couples planning your weddings can relate to Sarah and Nabil. Wedding planning can get tough, but just remember that in the end, it’s your special day. We completely understand where Sarah’s coming from! It can be overwhelming to navigate all the details that go into planning a wedding.

The day started with Sarah and her bridesmaids clinking glasses and sipping bubbly as they got ready for the big day ahead. Sarah wore a designer wedding dress by Essense of Australia and carried a gorgeous bouquet of roses from LC Floral. The bride’s makeup and hair stylists, Stephanie Wineapple and Missy Thiege, did an incredible job of making Sarah look absolutely radiant and flawless. They are such talented individuals who truly cared about the bride and made her feel beautiful and confident on her special day.

The bride and groom had a sweet first look before their ceremony, and even though we’ve seen so many first looks at this point, we’re still spellbound by this moment. The raw, unfiltered emotions are our favorite part of weddings. Nabil stood tall and handsome in his black tuxedo and bowtie, eagerly waiting to see his bride. And when he turned around to see Sarah in her final look, he had a 1000-watt smile on his face and was blushing like a schoolboy! It was such an ‘aww’ moment! We could tell how happy they were to start this new chapter together as husband and wife. Later, we gathered the wedding party and took some pictures of the bridesmaids looking fabulous in their dresses from J’aime Bridal and the groomsmen posing like superstars for the camera.

Sarah and Nabil’s wedding ceremony was oh-so-dreamy! They chose a dark jewel-toned color theme, and the entire setup looked spectacular with candles and bright lights. The couple invited a total of 140 guests, and the ceremony began at sharp 4:30 PM. The entrance and wedding altar were decorated with fresh roses, and the rose petals on the aisle made us swoon! We couldn’t help but admire how gorgeous everything looked. Nabil’s best friend and groomsman, Mike, was their officiant, which made the ceremony even more special. As Sarah and Nabil exchanged their vows, it was clear that they were deeply in love. But what we loved the most was how relaxed they were during the entire ceremony. We got some great pictures of them giggling and gazing at each other with love.

Sarah and Nabil’s wedding reception was pure magic! Every detail had been planned out so carefully. The venue had a massive crystal chandelier hanging in the middle of the dancefloor, glistening like raindrops! The first dance was breathtaking as the newlyweds swayed under the chandelier to ‘Can’t Take My Eyes Off Of You’ covered by Shawn Mendes. The toasts were delightful and a testament to the couple’s love for friends and family. And speaking of family, Nabil also danced with his sister! It was such a touching moment. The wedding was an incredible blend of Afghan and American cultures, and we were honored to be part of it.

The dream team who made Sarah and Nabil’s day memorable truly deserves a big shout-out! The lighting by Fantasy Sound Event Services created a magical ambiance, while Matter Video captured the essence of the day perfectly on video. The wedding cake by Ma Petite Maison looked delicious, and the linen rentals and invites from Pleasanton Rentals and Zola were top-notch. Casey Hahn, Casa Real Director of Events, worked tirelessly to ensure that everything flowed seamlessly! Everyone danced the night away to the groovy music played by DJ Derek from Entourage Events.
