Sylvia & Alex’s Winery Wedding at Casa Real, Pleasanton

Not many of us will ever get to say that we met our true love in our formative years, but that is part of the beautiful love story between Sylvia and Alex. Although it took many years for them to realize they were made for each other,  Sylvia and Alex were married on June 10. Casa Real at Ruby Hill, set in vineyards and gently rolling foothills, was the perfect place for friends and family to gather to celebrate this union that was long in the making.

The bride was stunning and radiant in a tiered wedding gown. She fought back joyful tears as she saw the love of her life for the first look. These two are obviously so in love!

At the ceremony, Sylvia seemed to float down the aisle in her flowing gown. She held a big bouquet of roses and peonies in their full June splendor. At the end of the aisle, she was not only greeted by her groom, but her brother John, who officiated the ceremony. Sylvia and Alex shared their own vows with each other; their sweet dedication ringing with every word. They sealed their vows with a kiss, and Alex’s fist pump meant it was time to start celebrating!

The reception highlighted the couples’ fun and playful side. The newlyweds danced their way through the Grand Salon as the wedding party and guests greeted them and cheered them on.

Sylvia and Alex shared their first official dance as husband and wife under the sparkling chandelier, soaking in the day that was already moving too fast. The newlyweds cut into the colorful three-tiered cake, and shared their first toast as a married couple.

Sylvia’s bouquet toss was met with a lot of laughter and a little friendly competition among her guests. Alex had a fun surprise in store; instead of a the traditional garter toss, he launched a football with a garter wrapped around it. Men have never been more enthusiastic for a garter toss.

A photo booth full of over-sized sunglasses and colorful wigs was a hilarious addition to the night. Sylvia tried not to hit Alex with her giant sunglasses as they shared a kiss for the camera.

After dinner, the happy couple and their guests continued the celebration on the dance floor. There was no shortage of hugs, laughter, and champagne as the evening continued. But Sylvia and Alex weren’t done with fun surprises for their guests. A late-night french fry bar full of vintage charm was brought out, and the hungry guests flocked to it.

This beautiful event was the sweetest tribute to the fun, devoted love that Sylvia and Alex have for each other. What an unforgettable Casa Real wedding for the newlyweds and guests! Congratulations, Sylvia and Alex!
