There might be nothing better than a spring wedding, with the beautiful light and perfect weather. But a spring wedding at Silverado Resort and Spa in Napa Valley? Yes, please!!

Osvaldo and Mayte met through a mutual friend, and quickly realized that they had a lot in common (which also . They were both born in Michoacán, Mexico (a few miles away, a month apart); both were raised in California (he was raised in Napa and she was raised in Orange County); they both attended UC Berkeley; both love to travel, love the same food, same music, same everything! They even belonged to the same organizations and had many friends in common, but our paths didn’t cross until Mayte moved to Washington DC at the end of 2016 and once they started dating? Absolutely inseparable!

When it came time for Osvaldo to pop the question, he proposed during a trip to the French Riviera. During the 12-day trip, he gave Mayte a piece of a puzzle — each piece had something beautiful written on it. He gave her the last piece of the puzzle on the last day of their trip, as they were exiting a beautiful church at Saint-Jean-Pac Ferrat. The last piece had a long message written on it, which she quickly skimmed because she kind of knew what the end would be: Would you marry me? It was a beautiful proposal!

Their spring wedding at Silverado Resort and Spa was filled with a lot of personal touches, including their special monogram that was featured on their favors, toast flutes, ring box, rings, unity candle, guest book shadow box, and even the cocktail hour napkins!
