As professional senior portrait photographers, we were truly honored to be part of Cooper’s senior portrait session in Berkeley, capturing a significant moment as he transitions into adulthood. Our approach goes beyond simply taking pictures; we strive to craft images using dynamic lighting and composition that authentically portray our clients’ personalities. Cooper, a bright, young, and dapper senior, brought his A-game to the session with multiple outfit changes, infectious positivity, and a magnetic personality that radiated through every shot. And here’s the exciting twist – Cooper also happens to be our wedding assistant (yay!). We are immensely proud of him and eagerly anticipate the remarkable achievements that lie ahead.

Let’s talk about the amazing Cooper! A Senior at Dublin High, Cooper has been a familiar face with us for the past three years, and what a pleasure it has been! Engaging in Leadership for two years, he’s been a dynamic force in the school band and marching band, showcasing his musical talent through the saxophone. 

Not to mention, academically, Cooper has been a star, tackling an impressive 9 AP courses alongside numerous honors classes. And what’s next on his horizon? UC Berkeley in the Fall – big congratulations, Cooper (growing up fast, aren’t we, aha!) Personally, I (Karey) couldn’t be happier that he’ll be a Golden Bear, ensuring his continued presence at future weddings (we adore you, Cooper!). 

Cooper was such a wonderful client to work with. The weather was perfect, the lighting was impeccable, and Cooper was a total natural in front of the camera. When he came in for his session, he had two different outfits planned, and he was so excited to get her pictures taken. We could tell that Cooper was super excited about this amazing new venture, and we’re glad we could document this special moment in his life. 

Cooper’s first outfit was a casual look that consisted of a pair of Nike sneakers, a Berkeley sweatshirt, and brown pants. For his second look, Cooper switched it up with a black T-shirt and paired it with a stylish, customized varsity jacket with his name written on it. How cool is that! Cooper definitely brought his SWAG to the shoot. Totally confident and comfortable, Cooper was a total pro in front of the camera. 

My client was also a total trooper, strolling around the location and posing in front of different backdrops. His bright, sweet smile never left his face, and his energy was on a whole other level. Plus, he made for some great company, too (as always!). We are constantly impressed by all the seniors that we get to photograph, and Cooper is one of them. Here’s to this exceptional young man and the bright journey ahead of him!
