Rustic Chic Wedding at Murrieta’s Well // Cody + Amberlee

Cody and Amberlee had a beautiful, fall wedding at Murrieta’s Well in Livermore. They added chic details to their rustic venue, creating a gorgeous atmosphere to celebrate their everlasting bond.

The pair met in high school, but reconnected years later through social media. Amberlee was not expecting to hit it off so well with Cody, and at first denied that their first meet-up was a date. It didn’t take long for her to realize that this could be something special, and as he left, she said, “I guess this was a date!” The sweet couple has been together ever since. Cody planned a surprise weekend getaway to San Francisco, and proposed to Amberlee on the beach. Her “yes” began a new adventure as they started wedding planning and getting ready for their future together.

Their October wedding day was warm and sunny. The bride and groom-to-be spent the day preparing for the ceremony with the wedding party, and taking pictures in the vineyards at Murrieta’s Well. Their large wedding party of twelve played a friendly game of football all dressed up in their wedding attire.

Hues of apricot and gold lined the aisle at Murrieta’s Well. Tables covered in deep purple linens held welcome signs and a guest book.  A string trio played as the wedding party made their way down the aisle. The six bridesmaids wore purple, flowing gowns and held bouquets of cream, crimson, and apricot. Cody waited at the end of aisle, in between two wine barrels with large bouquets on top. As his bride walked closer to him, his smile grew bigger and bigger. Amberlee was the quintessential bride in her cream, strapless wedding dress. She had a long veil over her blond hair, and her trailing train followed her down the aisle. She kissed her father at the end of the aisle and went to join her groom.

Amberlee and Cody exchanged sincere, heartfelt vows, their love for each other so obvious to their guests. After saying “I do,” and sealing their vows with a kiss, the happy newlyweds walked triumphantly up the aisle.

The rustic wood walls, shimmering gold accents, and mood lighting gave a romantic feel to the reception hall at Murrieta’s Well.  Cody and Amberlee shared their first dance together as a married couple, once again smiling and laughing and enjoying each other. Amberlee had a special and emotional dance with her father, who was obviously so happy for his little girl!

There were many more sweet moments in the night: well-wishing speeches; cutting the glamorous, flower-adorned wedding cake; and tossing the bouquet. Instead of a garter toss, Cody tossed a football to the awaiting bachelors. At the end of the night, their guests lit a path with glow sticks as the newlyweds left the ceremony.

Congratulations Amberlee and Cody!
