While wedding photography holds a special place in our hearts, there’s something truly magical about capturing the essence of love in engagement sessions. These sessions allow us to witness the pure joy and excitement that comes with a recent engagement as couples bask in their newfound status with sheer happiness. It’s a wonderful opportunity for partners to bond and revel in the “just engaged” glow. Listening to each couple’s unique love story gives us a glimpse into their connection, guiding us in immortalizing these treasured moments. Moses and Katie’s engagement session in Pleasanton was a delightful experience to photograph. This charming duo embraced every moment, making the best of moments and creating memories that would last a lifetime.

Moses And Katie’s Story

Amidst the challenges of COVID, Katie and Moses serendipitously met at a cozy coffee shop in downtown Pleasanton. This chance encounter blossomed into a deep connection with Katie, who was home from UCLA, and Moses, who had newly transferred to CSUEB. 

Moses and Katie’s story is a beautiful tale of fate and love. They’re busy planning their upcoming July wedding in Hawaii, a place close to Katie’s heart as it holds cherished memories of yearly family vacations and was her late father’s favorite destination. In 2018, Katie’s father bravely battled brain cancer and sadly passed away, leaving a void in their lives. It was a poignant moment for Katie as her dad was not only a beloved family member but also a colleague with whom I (Karey) taught for 12 wonderful years in Dublin.

Moses And Katie’s Engagement Session In Pleasanton

Moses and Katie’s engagement session was absolutely enchanting. The backdrop of Pleasanton offered a picturesque setting with its majestic trees, lush greenery, and the perfect touch of sunlight. What made this session truly magical was the genuine affection and romantic moments shared between Moses and Katie. Their love shone through in every photograph as they laughed, embraced, and radiated joy throughout the shoot. Being able to capture their connection on camera was a privilege, and we’re grateful to have preserved these beautiful moments of love.

For their engagement session, Katie had two outfits. For the first half, Katie wore a pretty blue summer dress and, later on, quickly changed into a white dress. Both outfits perfectly matched their surroundings, and Katie looked lovely. Moses looked handsome in his jeans, white shirt, and brown jacket, once again complimenting the natural elements around them. The lovely couple was surrounded by majestic tall trees, and the natural light peeking through the trees added a magical charm to their engagement photos. 

Moses was holding Katie and gazing into her eyes with so much love and adoration, and their engagement photos speak for themselves. They truly owned every minute of their engagement session, whispering sweet nothings and stealing kisses amidst the sun’s beautiful golden glow. Katie and Moses were such naturals in front of the camera and were radiating happiness. They held hands, shared sweet kisses, and lovingly glanced at each other, making it so easy to work with them.

No matter what we did or where we were, the couple never stopped smiling or laughing. And if these photos are not what being in love looks like, we don’t know what does! Their love was evident in every frame. It was a splendid shoot from start to finish, with the perfect weather and backdrop for a truly romantic engagement session.
