Tammy & Brad // Penthouse Suite, Fairmont San Francisco Wedding

As wedding photographers, we had an absolute blast capturing Tammy and Brad’s stunning San Francisco wedding! The Penthouse Suite was dripping with luxury, and every detail arranged by the bride and groom was top-notch. This enchanting haven perfectly reflected the sophistication and opulence of this striking couple. Surrounded by splendor and grace, this was undoubtedly an exquisite way to kick off their happily ever after!

Tammy And Brad’s Love Story

Once Brad and Tammy began describing how they first met, it confirmed their remarkable journey as a couple. They were introduced to each other at a business happy hour. The following evening, despite getting invited to what Tammy thought was a business dinner, it was different from what Brad had in mind.It turned out that he assumed he was on an actual date the entire evening!

Regardless, cupid had worked his magic, and they soon fell madly and deeply for one another. When it came time for him to pop the question, Brad did it in the most romantic way – in their cozy home with their son, and it goes without saying that Tammy said yes!

Tammy and Brad’s original plans for a New Year’s Eve wedding had been postponed to spring due to Covid restrictions. However, the couple still felt drawn to have an intimate gathering at the Penthouse Suite. Although the initial plan had to be put on hold, they still managed to tie the knot in their living room – virtually! With me (Karey) being the sole physical attendee aside from their two children. Tammy and Brad’s friends and family watched through Zoom with phones/cameras set up throughout. It was a truly special night that will never be forgotten.

When inquiring about the most challenging part of wedding planning, the couple said that it was dealing with the pandemic, the cost it’s taken on people, and how privileged they felt to be able to do this in such a difficult time but oh-so sad at the same time as more people couldn’t be there to witness it all. For Tammy and Brad, their favorite part of wedding planning was “Trying to think of ways to bring a smile to people’s faces during this difficult year has been the most enjoyable part for me truly.”

We started photographing Tammy and Brad’s Fairmont San Francisco wedding on a beautiful note at the legendary Penthouse Suite. It was remarkable to witness their raw emotion as they got ready for their big day ahead. As Tammy dressed with her daughter and Brad with his son – so much love filled the suite, and we were honored to document every stunning detail. From Tammy’s exquisite wedding dresses by Halfpenny London / Kate Halfpenny, her graceful bridal bouquet by LC Floral Design, and gorgeous bridal makeup by the talented Adela de la Cerda of AO Makeup to Brad’s sharp outfit chosen from The Black Tux.

Capturing the moment when Tammy and Brad had their beautiful first look was heart-warming! What an enchanting moment it was when Tammy and Brad first laid eyes on each other! Their beaming smiles and loving glances brought an irresistible warmth to the room.

Tammy and Brad’s romantic nuptials at the iconic Penthouse Suite at Fairmont San Francisco had us spellbound! It all made perfect sense as Tammy is a huge history buff, and this breathtaking historical venue features amazing cityscape views. At precisely 5 PM, Wedfully hosted the virtual ceremony of Tammy and Brad’s union on their balcony. Seeing them reciting their vows with joyous faces was a beautiful moment as they began a new chapter in their lives together.

From the picturesque living and dining room to the spectacular library and pool table, every area of the Penthouse Suite held remarkable backdrops filled with historical significance. Tammy and Brad effortlessly filled these magnificent scenes with genuine intimacy, weaving their love through warm embraces, tender gestures, and whispered sweet nothings. We even captured some amazing shots of them walking in the middle of a crosswalk. They struck romantic poses and included their cute little ones too! Talk about a perfect blend of city chic and family love. It truly was such a heart-warming family moment against the backdrop of an urban cityscape!

Every inch of the hotel oozed luxury, while the tastefully designed Paperless Post invitations echoed the passion of the couple’s hearts. Tammy and Brad took to the dance floor and swayed to the dreamy tunes of Eric Clapton’s “You Look Wonderful Tonight.” But the lovebirds didn’t stop there! They cranked up the fun by roping in the whole family and danced to Bob Dylan’s “Forever Young.” The happy gathering included friends and family, including virtual attendees, who celebrated Tammy and Brad’s union. And let’s not forget about the beautiful cake baked by Butter&! It looked so delicious! We couldn’t help but feel blessed to have been a part of this beautiful celebration.
