Meet Caitlin And Justin
Caitlin and Justin’s love story is the stuff of modern-day fairytales. They met on the popular dating app Bumble, and it was instant chemistry – a true “love at first swipe” kind of story. After discovering their love story, we were eager to learn more about the proposal. And we were truly impressed! After a romantic dinner at Caitlin’s favorite restaurant in Seattle, Justin proposed to her on her birthday at the Seattle Center under the Space Needle! WOW! After Caitlin said yes, they went back to the bar where they had their first date for celebratory drinks. Justin, you really aced your proposal for your lady love.
Justin And Caitlin’s Wedding
There are always a million details to juggle while planning a wedding, and things can change in an instant. And when COVID-19 hit, it threw everything into chaos. Caitlin and Justin’s wedding plans were turned upside down as they had to change their wedding date twice, plus deal with the challenge of planning from afar as they lived in Seattle. Despite the hurdles, Caitlin and Justin finally tied the knot and pulled off an amazing day that was full of love, laughter, and plenty of special moments with their loved ones.
We started their wedding photography by capturing some emotional getting ready moments of Caitlin with her mom and bridesmaids. We loved capturing all the emotions as her mom helped her with the final touches. Caitlin chose a designer dress from I Do Bridal in Seattle, and looked like a vision in white. She also had seven bridesmaids by her side, who wore elegant, dusty blue gowns from Azazie. They were all so supportive and excited for her. After getting all dressed up, Caitlin and her mom held hands, just soaking in the happiness. It was such a precious mother-daughter moment to photograph.
Caitlin and Justin decided to do their first look outdoors, and it was nothing short of magical. They both stood with their backs against each other, not knowing what the other looked like, until they turned around. As they turned to face each other, the look on both of their faces was one of pure joy. This is a moment we never get sick of witnessing or capturing. You never get a take 2 with those emotions.
It was a beautiful day for Caitlin and Justin’s outdoor wedding ceremony. The sun was shining, and the lighting was ideal. Justin looked so handsome in his attire by The Black Tux with his 10 groomsmen standing tall by his side. We were able to capture some truly stunning photos of the happy couple giggling and laughing during their wedding ceremony. The light peeking through the trees helped create a magical atmosphere, and the bride and groom looked absolutely radiant.
Caitlin and Justin were so easy to work with. We scouted a few locations for their wedding portraits and finally landed on two perfect spots with palm trees on either side and the other in the vineyards. They walked hand-in-hand, kissing and embracing each other. It’s always so nice to be able to get the newlyweds alone after the ceremony because it’s also when they get to spend some alone time on the wedding day and truly soak in the fact that they are husband and wife. And capturing those moments is a treat for us!
The couple invited 175 guests, and their wedding reception moments were some of the most special moments of the day. Not only were there open windows all around, but the brightly lit candle chandeliers provided ambient lighting during the night. The florals from Delford West added an additional layer of elegance to the venue, and the delicate glassware on the tables sparkled in the candlelight. Caitlin and Justin has planned every little detail.
It was a heart-warming moment when Caitlin and Justin shared their first dance as husband and wife. They looked into each other’s eyes and smiled while swaying to the song Blessed by Thomas Rhett. The whole room was filled with joy and love. Glen with Fantasy Sound played some great music, and everyone joined Caitlin and Justin on the dance floor.
