Casa Real at Ruby Hill Winery Wedding // Olivia + Christopher

College sweethearts, Olivia and Christopher tied the knot in a warm and romantic December wedding at Casa Real at Ruby Hill Winery in Pleasanton. Holiday wreaths and touches of gold, silver, and white filled the rooms while they danced the night away with friends and family.

While in college, Christopher’s fraternity came to serenade Olivia’s sorority. They came to the front porch and sang “A Whole New World,” and when it was over they were all mingling and talking on the front lawn. Chris wasn’t paying attention and turned around, bumped into Olivia, knocking over. She immediately thought he was handsome, so she asked one of his fraternity brothers (one of their groomsmen) about him, and he got them in contact with one another… The rest is history as they say!

With the ceremony taking place at sunset, Olivia and Christopher opted to do a first look and complete all of their photos prior to the ceremony! Olivia also did a first look with her grandmother, who gifted her the beautiful Stella York gown she was wearing. I’m not sure if I’ve ever seen a more sweet, sincere first look before. Her grandmother was overjoyed and moved to tears when she saw her granddaughter. In fact, we all may have shed a few tears in that moment.

Their Casa Real wedding was everything a December wedding should be. The ceremony took place in the Amber Room where candles lined the aisle and the fire roared. Olivia’s mother walked her down the aisle while her grandmother looked on, crying happy tears of joy, again. Vows were said, rings were exchanged, and kisses were had. Friends and family tosses white rose petals as they took their first steps as husband and wife.
