Lindsey & Mario’s Rustic Wedding at Las Positas Vineyards in Livermore

When Lindsey and Mario met on their first day at a new job, they didn’t know that a much bigger chapter of life had opened for them! Beyond landing a new gig, they had met the person they’d spend the rest of their lives with. They fell in love, and in July of 2017, they were married at Las Positas Vineyards in Livermore, California. Their rustic and elegant wedding was a beautiful celebration of new beginnings.

As Lindsey and her bridesmaids prepared for the day, they wore matching robes, a gift from the bride. Lindsey, all ready accept for her dress, read a note from her groom-to-be. It was delivered in a box that said, “Letters to the bride.” The bridesmaids changed into their mint green dresses, a wedding color that would later be complemented with gray. The bride carefully helped her friends with zippers and clasps, and then they helped her slip into her dress. Her beautiful, fitted wedding gown had lace on the top and layers of flowing material on the skirt. A long row of buttons ran up her back, which her bridesmaids carefully buttoned for her.

After hours of preparation, it was finally time to see Mario! Their first look photos took place in a walkway lined with dark wooden beams and twisting vines. Mario’s face lit up as he saw his bride. He spun her around to see her beautiful dress and to take in her beaming bridal look. The happy couple met up with the bridal party for some pictures before the ceremony began. The groomsmen wore gray suits and mint ties, perfectly paired with the bridesmaids dresses.

The ceremony began in the late afternoon on the patio. Lindsey was accompanied down the aisle by her father. She carried a stunning bouquet of white and peach flowers, greenery flowing down the edges. Her hair was topped in a long, lacy veil, and her flowing train followed her as she made her way to Mario. The altar area was lined with two wine barrels with floral arrangements sitting on top. The ceremony was peppered with playful moments, where the couple showed their fun sides. In a more serious moment, they read the vows that they’d prepared for each other. They were pronounced husband and wife, and kissed each other. Mario high-fived a friend in celebration on his way up the aisle with his new bride at his side.

After taking a few moments for themselves in the vineyards, the newlyweds made their way to the reception. They triumphantly walked into the reception hall, and then headed to the patio for their first dance.  Other wedding dance traditions were honored as Lindsey danced with her father and Mario danced with his mother. After speeches and dinner, the couple cut into their beautiful tiered cake that rested on a wine barrel. The setting sun cast a pink light as they sweetly fed cake to each other. The rest of the evening was filled with lots of dancing and celebration for this beautiful couple!

What Lindsay and Mario had to say about working with Hazy Lane Studios:

“My husband and I got married in July 2017 and Karey was absolutely outstanding. We loved our engagement photos and the wedding turned out to be everything we could have hoped for and more. The execution was on point and the wedding day went as planned. Karey sticks to a schedule and makes sure everyone is on the same page, which helps with the other vendors as well. Our wedding album came and it was better than we could have imagined. It is amazing and we cannot wait to order more prints to decorate the house. Our wedding was beautiful and Karey helped capture every moment so we can relive our special day. Karey was incredible and we would highly recommend her to our family and friends.”
