Kristin & Clark // Elliston Vineyards Wedding

Photographing Kristin and Clark’s Elliston Vineyards wedding in Sunol, California was a delightful experience. What made it extra special was that we had done their engagement session on Mt. Diablo and were already aware of how fun-loving and amazing they are as a couple. We could barely contain our excitement for their wedding. Plus, being from the same hometown as Kristin, we felt a familiar connection with this one-of-a-kind couple. And Clark being such a high-energy person himself, we knew this wedding would end up as one of the most fun celebrations ever, which it totally did! Throughout the day, mulberry, sage, and gold colors filled up every corner and blank space adding more beauty to this stunning vineyard setting. It was an amazing experience to be a part of!

Meet Kristin And Clark

Kristin and Clark are a match made in heaven. When we asked them about their love story, they shared that it all started at the Sunshine Saloon in Pleasanton where they first met. Kristin shared with us her proposal story; she recalled vacationing with Clark in Grand Cayman on the 7-mile beach when, in a truly magical moment, he got down on one knee to ask for her hand.

When we asked what their favorite part of wedding planning had been so far, they both agreed that seeing everyone again for the first time in over a year has been truly special. Although there have certainly been some challenges with all of the on-and-off wedding plans because of Covid, Kristin and Clark were determined to make it work for their loved ones. From the proposal story to their wedding day, we couldn’t wait to witness the beautiful union of these two lovebirds!

Kristin And Clark’s Elliston Vineyards Wedding

We began the day capturing the bride and groom’s getting ready photographs. What an event it was! Kristin and her girls had matching PJs for a fun pre-getting-dressed photo. And when Kristin put on her Allure Couture wedding dress from Gesinee’s Bridal Salon she was stunning. Her hair was an elegant updo and complemented her look perfectly. Clark was dashing in his blue wedding attire from Generation Tux. They both were glowing with excitement and anticipation for their big day ahead. We also took photos of the bridesmaids who looked gorgeous in mulberry shades thanks to dresses by Azazie and hair and makeup by Status Salon. The color coordinated perfectly with the stunning bridal bouquet created by Flower House, having a lovely assortment of mulberry-colored flowers with white roses.

The Elliston Vineyards was the perfect wedding venue for Kristin and Clark’s outdoor ceremony. The sun-kissed rolling hills and lush greenery all added to the romantic atmosphere of the magical day when friends and family gathered to witness their union. The sunny weather that day added to the picturesque scene with a warm golden light. As Kristin and Clark professed their love and said their vows, it felt as though time had stopped; a truly magical experience that captured the spirit of both the couple and their special day.

It was a record 102 degrees that day but even without any AC in the historical building, it was hot! But the fans were working overtime and it cooled off nicely in the evening and allowed for a beautiful celebration. The highlight of the night, however, had to be Kristin’s surprise dress change! After exchanging vows wearing her elegant wedding dress, she traded it in for a fantastic reception dress that was much needed due to the heat. Outdoors, the couple donned their newlywed glow as we scouted several picturesque spots at the vineyard. Kristin and Clark were all smiles, gazing into each other’s eyes, posing romantically around every corner. The bright sun and pleasant weather created an ambiance of romance and joy as they nestled into each other’s arms and shared countless heartwarming glances throughout their stunning couples portraits.

Kristin and Clark’s Elliston Vineyards reception was an amazing celebration filled with wonderful energy. DJ Michael Gilmore of Amos Productions kept the party going all evening and had everyone dancing right up until the last song. It was really something special when Kristin and Clark shared their first dance to Michael Jackson’s “Love Never Felt so Good”. Everyone joined in after and it was a blast. The couple’s fun cake cutting of the wedding cake crafted with care by Cake Delight added to the merriment of the evening.

A final shout-out goes to the hardworking team behind this night: Pleasanton Rentals for the enchanting linen and decorations and Minted for providing the gorgeous invitations. It truly was a magical evening that won’t soon be forgotten.
