Intimate Wedding at Elliston Vineyards // Elena + Mike

Elena and Mike’s love story began many years ago, although they didn’t realize it then. They met in middle school, but it took them until their senior year of high school to become close friends. After high school, it would take them 20 more years to reconnect. Still more time passed until they began dating, but it was clear to them that the timing was right and soon, they were engaged. Elena and Mike were married in an October wedding at Elliston Vineyards in Sunol, California.

Their small, intimate wedding included a bridal party of three: Elena and Mike’s children. Elena’s daughter and mother helped her into her lacy gown with a sweetheart neckline. Her daughter, the maid of honor, wore a champagne colored dress that draped over one shoulder. Soft colors like ivory, blush, and champagne would make up the palette of day. Before the ceremony, Elena gave corsages of blush and ivory flowers to her mother and mother-in-law to be.

Soon, it was time for Elena’s mother to walk her down the aisle. The gorgeous bride looked peaceful and happy as she walked towards Mike. Mike took Elena’s hands, and together they listened to readings and words of wisdom to encourage them in their new life together. After exchanging vows, the couple was pronounced husband and wife. Mike kissed his lovely bride, and Elena raised her bouquet in celebration. The two paused for another kiss as they walked back up the aisle.

The entire wedding gathered for group photos after the ceremony. During the wedding planning process, Elena loved receiving every response card, knowing that their friends and family members would come celebrate with them. The newlyweds took lots of photos with different groups of guests, including a shot of their new family of five.  Then, they headed off to take pictures alone together. They walked in the vineyards, and posed in front of a beautiful stone mansion on the grounds of Elliston Vineyards.

Elena and Mike and their guests left for an intimate lunch reception at the Bridges in Danville. Their wedding day was full of love, both for each other and their families, which will carry them through many years to come!
