Andrea And JP’s Casa Real at Ruby Hill Winery Wedding

There’s something truly magical about weddings. It’s more than just a celebration of love; it’s the coming together of two people to start a new life filled with hopes, dreams, and promises. As wedding photographers, it’s an honor to witness and capture all the unforgettable moments that unfold on a couple’s special day. Andrea and JP’s Casa Real at Ruby Hill Winery wedding had its fair share of epic moments. From the romantic first dance to the heartfelt speeches, the day was full of love and joy.

Andrea And JP’s Love Story

Andrea and JP had known each other since 2012 when they were in high school. However, at that point in time, they were in different places in life. JP then went off to college in Colorado for a year while Andrea finished high school. Fate brought them back together when they both attended the infamous Wednesday night street fair during summer in Pleasanton. JP happened to turn the corner in his car just as Andrea was crossing the street, and they locked eyes. And the rest, as they say, is history.

They spent their first date watching Despicable Me 2 (a cute movie for an equally cute couple!) behind the Pleasanton aquatic center. Fast forward to August 3, 2014 – a date that holds a special place in their hearts. It was the day they officially became a couple. Over the next five years, they went through many ups and downs together, growing as individuals and as a couple. On October 27, 2019, JP proposed to Andrea in Hope Valley, a place that holds a special place in their hearts. It was the place where JP carved their names into a tree at the beginning of their relationship.

Andrea and JP’s wedding was a true reflection of their lovely personalities and styles. This was ‘round 2’ for the couple, as they were officially married one year prior and treated the wedding as a special one-year vow renewal ceremony with their loved ones in attendance. From the stunning venue to the beautiful flower arrangements by LC Floral and fine linen from Pleasanton Rentals, everything looked spectacular and was planned to perfection.

We started the day by photographing the wedding party as everyone got ready to witness Andrea and JP’s union. Andrea looked absolutely gorgeous on her special day, all thanks to Jennifer Orturo-Murray, who did an amazing job with her hair and makeup. The bride wore an elegant white dress by Hayley Paige from Swoon Bridal, while her bridesmaids donned flowy powder blue dresses from Bill Levkoff. And let’s not forget about Andrea’s adorable flower girl, who certainly stole the show! Meanwhile, JP and his crew were getting ready too. JP’s little ring bearer won everyone over with his snazzy outfit and sneakers. After the couple’s first look, we headed outside for group photos with the beautiful brick-walled winery in the backdrop, complemented by the perfect weather and lighting.

Andrea and JP’s wedding ceremony was nothing short of magical. The couple exchanged their vows at 3 PM, in the presence of 190 guests, and guess what? Their ceremony was also live-streamed! The venue was surrounded by lush greenery, and their rustic wedding theme was further enhanced by wooden barrels decorated with flowers that matched Andrea’s bouquet. Against this enchanting backdrop, the couple exchanged heartfelt vows and declared their love for each other (again!). After the ceremony, we whisked away the newlyweds for some couples portraits. Andrea and JP were glowing with happiness as they walked hand-in-hand and explored the vineyards, soaking in the ‘just married’ (again) feeling.

The reception venue looked stunning and was adorned with delicate crystals hanging from a massive chandelier, creating a mesmerizing atmosphere in the room. The couple’s head table was decorated with lush flowers and candles, and the room was brimming with excitement as friends and family eagerly awaited Andrea and JP’s first dance. The couple took to the dance floor and swayed to the romantic tune of ‘Hey Pretty Girl’ by Kip Moore, setting the mood for the rest of the night.

The wedding cake by Primrose Bakery was an absolute masterpiece. We also have to give a special shout-out to the couple’s coordinator, Alyssa Hickerson (provided by Casa Real), for her incredible management and coordination. DJ Rick Mustafa from Amos Productions had everyone on their feet, grooving to the music, as the night turned into a super fun dance party!
