Aaron and Liz met in high school. Yes, you read that right! With a sweet story of silent crushes,  “I liked you, but you didn’t really like me,” Aaron once wrote, they just needed a nudge. Finally that little push came from their geometry teacher, who also happened to be Aaron’s Dad, the two began to see one another.  Their courtship was as sweet as can be. As any two high school sweethearts do, they exchanged hundreds of sweet little love notes and letters through the years – and kept them! Here is a little one from Aaron to Liz –

“…Very flattering that you use to have a crush on me and now I have a major crush on you. I guess things work themselves out at some point… Thinking about prom, thinking about you and that smile and I get this big rush of energy. I really think we will have a good time…”

After high school, the two parted ways, but not lives. They stayed together while Liz went to UC Davis and Aaron went to Sacramento State. After college graduation and a few more years of dating, Aaron said those 4 little words after making that first commitment to Liz nearly 13 years prior. As planning began, they landed upon the stunning Casa Real at Ruby Hill. With sweeping views of the hills and vineyards, Casa Real is a dedicated event venue that offered exactly what Liz and Aaron were looking for – classic romance.
