Sts. Peter and Paul Church + Fairmont San Francisco Wedding // JB + Stephanie

From high school, to college, to adulting, JB and Stephanie have been through it together – supporting one another and making eachother laugh though it all. I personally love seeing high school sweethearts get married as it reminds me not only of some of my dearest friends, but also my parents who have been together since 1970!

JB and Stephanie along with their families, handled all of the planning and every small detail that went into the day. Both were relaxed and carefree through the whole process. Stephanie even stated that it was, “[A] piece of cake!”

Stephanie main gown (with pockets!) and the bridesmaids dresses were from BHLDN and set the perfect statements – simple, sweet, and fun! The girls popped champagne and got ready in one of the luxurious suites at the Fairmont, San Francisco. Spacious enough for everyone, HMUA Jeaneane Moreno, along with her team, prettied up all the ladies with a natural and classic look for the day. Stephanie’s Mother and sister helped her slip into her gown before being whisked away by car to Sts. Peter and Paul Church in San Francisco’s North Beach, Washington Square neighborhood.

Stephanie was escorted by her father down the aisle, where she quickly locked eyes with JB. Her smile radiated under her blusher. Her sister whipped away tears as their father lifted Stephanie’s veil and gave her away. During mass, many laughs and giggles were shared among the guests as the priest gave his sermon. Side glances, smiles, and even some hand holding could be seen whenever you looked at the soon-to-be newlyweds. Rings were exchanged, a no-to-quick kiss was had, and over 200 guests erupted with joy as the two took their first steps as husband and wife.

Their reception took place in the Gold Room at the historic Fairmont, San Francisco. JB and Stephanie shared a first dance to Ed Sheern’s “Perfect.” After the father/daughter and mother/son dance, Stephenie opted to have a formal dance with her grandfather as well. This was such a sweet and meaningful touch to the reception – and it definitely got me a bit more than teary-eyed thinking of a dance that I had with my own grandfather at my wedding 13 years prior. Before the cake cutting, Stephanie slipped into her reception gown to finish off the evening.

It was so wonderful to spend such an incredibly fun day with JB, Stephanie, and their families. I cannot wait to see where their future takes them!
