Disney Inspired Wedding at The Bridges Golf Course in San Ramon // Jamie + Matthew

Jamie and Matthew’s wedding was full of DIY details and Disney inspired touches. They got married at The Bridges Golf Club in August, in a wedding that reflected their fun personalities and love for each other.

Jamie and her bridesmaids wore Mickey Mouse ears as they spent some precious time together getting ready for the wedding. The bridesmaids wore long, burgundy dresses in different styles. Jamie’s lacy dress had a gorgeous, flowing skirt. She pinned a studded Micky Mouse pin near her shoulder- a sweet symbol that her groom wore as well.

As the wedding processional began, the bridesmaids walked down the aisle carrying big, gorgeous bouquets of deep-red roses. The groomsmen wore light gray suits with burgundy ties. Instead of flower petals, two adorable tots made way for the bride with bubble guns. Finally, the bride came down the aisle, her long dark hair shining in the sunlight, and the long train of her dress flowing behind her. She was a radiant bride! She met her groom at the end of the aisle, and guests struggled to hold back their happy tears. After they shared their vows for each other and exchanged rings, Jamie and Matthew were pronounced husband and wife. Matthew lifted a triumphant fist in the air as they walked back up the aisle.

Before the ceremony, the newlyweds took some photos together on the golf course. They obviously enjoyed this time that they got to spend together! There was so much laughter as Matthew spun Jamie around and dipped her low for a kiss. There were many more fun moments in store for this sweet couple at the reception.

The reception had been lovingly set up by the bridal party and family members. The tables had floral centerpieces in a rose-gold vase. Tucked into the middle of each centerpiece was a postcard with the name of a ride at Disneyland. Guests knew which table to sit at by finding their own “Fast Pass” for the ride. The couple’s sweetheart table was decorated with a shimmering rose-gold table cloth, and balloons that spelled out “Mr. and Mrs.” Two sets of mouse ears, one black with a top hat and one white with a tiara, awaited the bride and groom.

The bridal party made way for the newlyweds with costumes, confetti, and some coordinated dance moves.  Jamie and Matthew were introduced to their guests and made their way to the sweetheart table. They wore their bride and groom mouse ears throughout the speeches, in which friends and family showered the couple with loving words. Jamie and Matthew had a playful, sweet first dance together as a married couple.

A beautiful white wedding cake awaited them. It was topped in flowers, mouse figurines, and a sign that said, “Best day ever!” Jamie and Matthew cut the cake together, and took a first bite. Jamie giggled as she tried to avoid Matthew’s frosting-face kiss. The bouquet and garter tosses brought out the competitive sides in the guests, as they pushed past each other to make the big catch. There was no shortage of fun and laughter during this celebration! After the evening ended, the couple headed off to their honeymoon at Walt Disney World to make more beautiful memories of their life together.
