Adam + Jennifer [Married] Garden Pavilion // Sonoma Wedding Photographer

Sometimes it pays to pay attention. Separately, the two of them with their friends, booked a rafting trip. As they jumped into their respective rafts, they quickly learned two things: 1. No guide would be going with them. 2. No one apparently was listening to the guides, except them. As the only two people that knew what do to when the river got rough, Jen and Adam made quite the connection. As the trip ended, both of them just knew this would be it.

Being quite the adventurus pair, the two enjoyed traveling, dressing up for parties and working out together. While traveling to Kaysersberg, France – on the mountain top with the vineyards below, Adam proposed to Jen. Carrying a ring with his grandmother’s diamond (a diamond that she wore for nearly 60 years), Adam was excited to pass on this heirloom to his bride-to-be. She excitedly said, “Yes!” and the planning began!

The two spent almost a year and a half planning their big day. With a vision in mind, it wasn’t until they found their perfect venue that everything really fell into place. The Garden Pavilion in Sonoma, is tucked away amongst the vineyards and can be easily missed if you were not looking for it. Beautiful gardens, a Victorian home and a crystal clear pool with a white arched bridge, make this venue picturesque. The roads are lined with lavender and sweeping views of vineyards in back, it’s hard not to fall in love.

Adam and Jen opted for a first touch over the first look. They wanted to speak before the big moment and exchange gifts, but most importantly, they wanted this moment to be private – no on-lookers, no bridal party, just them. These 5 minutes were as sweet as can be and the “big reveal” was still there for the two of them as Jen was escorted by her father thirty minutes later.

Full guest shot? No problem! Thank goodness for that balcony!

Jen’s stunning gown was purchased at a Brides Against Breast Cancer event. With over 150 events a year, this amazing program brings designer dresses to brides at amazing savings while donating the monies directly back to women and children effected by breast cancer.

Staying classically them, directly following their grand entrance, they danced to, “At Last,” by Etta James.

Adam and Jen worked tirelessly making a giant Jenga blocks and corn hole! Both games were located on the large green in front of the house and guests enjoyed playing the games all evening!

Wishing these two a lifetime (and beyond) of love an happiness! I cannot wait to see what your beautiful and bright future has in store for you!!
